Our work.
Websites for local businesses. Ordering that connects to the till. Club scores on the clubhouse screen. Here are a few of the things I've built, and the jobs they help people get done.
ClubCast: live scoring, from the course to the clubhouse.
Custom software, a club website and a shared view of the competition.
What was needed
The club needed a way to show scores while a competition was underway, both on the clubhouse TV and on its website. An off-the-shelf product didn't fit the job.
What I built
I built ClubCast to handle live scoring and leaderboards, with nearest to pin, sponsor rotation and club announcements. The club website brings the live scores online so members can follow along away from the clubhouse too.
How it helps
Members can follow the competition as it happens, with scores on the website and clubhouse screen at the same time. ClubCast has been used for real club competitions.
“Members can follow the scores live from the clubhouse, and the course guide has been a hit with visitors.”Heyfield Golf Club

One menu, from the till to the website.

What was needed
An easier way for customers to order online, without a second menu for the business to keep up to date.
What I built
A website that reads the Square catalogue, takes payments and sends paid orders through to the kitchen. Prices and stock follow the till, so changes don't need to be entered twice.
How it helps
Online orders went from under 3% to over 10% of all Quick Cuppa orders in the first week after launch.
“Ordering is so much easier for our customers now. It just works.”Sheree, Quick Cuppa & More
A website for the business.A portal for its clients.

What was needed
A public business website and a separate place for customers to access their documents.
What I built
A business website alongside a customer document portal, bringing client access into the online service the business provides.
How it helps
The website introduces the business to new customers. The portal gives existing clients a place to access their documents.
The demo uses fictional information, with no live client accounts or documents.
Fixtures and results, without entering them twice.

What was needed
The club had never had a website. It needed a place for supporters, players and parents to find club information and keep up with the season.
What I built
A club website connected to PlayHQ for fixtures, scores, ladders and player stats, with result alerts, calendar syncing and match-day weather.
How it helps
Supporters can follow matches away from the ground. Players and parents can add the season to their calendar, and those details update if a game moves. Volunteers don't have to re-enter scores and fixtures on the website.
A clear introduction to a local security business.

What was needed
A replacement for an older builder page, with a clearer introduction to mobile patrols around Yarram and cash in transit across Victoria.
What I built
A business website that leads with patrol services, makes licence and insurance details easy to find and keeps the phone number close at hand.
How it helps
Potential customers can see what the business does, where it works and how to make contact.
“Everyone I've shown it to has commented on how good it looks.”Mick, Albatross Security
Real jobs, a local crew and a clear way to enquire.

What was needed
A website that introduces the Glenmaggie concreting and earthworks business, shows the work it takes on and gives people across Gippsland a straightforward way to request a quote.
What I built
A business website with service information, a gallery of real jobs, local service areas and answers to common questions. Phone links and a quote form let visitors get in touch with details of the job, location and work required.
How it helps
Visitors can see the crew's work, check whether their project is a fit and send the details needed to start a quote conversation. The site keeps the focus on local experience and real photos.
